Job description

To perform reviews and assessments, as assigned, based on an in-depth understanding of established legal, regulatory and organisational documents and processes

 
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Create input into the development of regulatory standards, practices and guides
  • Perform simple and complex systems assessments
  •  Provide input into the development of regulatory standards, practices and guides
  •  Participate in national and international forums
  • Represent organisation in meetings with external stakeholders
  • Participate in other work outside departmental as required, e.g. emergency exercises, etc.
  • Focus on self-development relating to duties in order to contribute to NNR capacity building
  • Mentoring of employees and interns

Minimum requirements

  • NQF level 8 in Natural Sciences, Physics or Chemistry
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in regulatory and/or professional experience
