Job description

To perform reviews and assessments as assigned based on an in-depth understanding of established legal, regulatory and organisational documents and process 

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Create input into the development of regulatory standards, practices and guides
  • Conduct assessments as assigned.
  • Handle simple and complex systems assessments
  • Participate in national and international forums
  • Represent organisation in meting with external stakeholders
  • Participate in other NNR work work outside departmental as required
  • Mentoring of new staff members
  • Deputise for the manager on request

Minimum requirements

  • Minimum NQF level 8 in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in Nuclear industry and/or Regulatory
