Job description
To render and maintain an effective and efficient procurement function that will ensure value for money when acquiring assets, goods and services.
Duties and responsibilities
- Receive request for proposals and quotations from end users
- Requesting of quotations
- Issue purchase orders
- Communicate with end users on status of the requests
- Secretarial services for procurement committees
- Filing of all tender and contract documents
- Capturing of new suppliers and updating information in the system
- Verification of assets
- Receiving of new assets
- Movements of assets
- Other function within SCM

Minimum requirements
- Grade 12
- NQF level 7 in Supply Chain Management or Public Finance or Accounting
- Ms Office
